ARTIST'S STATEMENT - LUKE & COBY KALLEWAARD View Pictures

The artistic partnership of husband and wife team Luke and Coby Kallewaard are on display in the Gallery of Sheen Falls Lodge for the months of November and December.

Both born in Holland, moved to Ireland in 1979. Living on the Ring of Kerry inspired them to start painting again.

For over 25 years Luke has painted rural settings in a style, untamed and natural, in oils and mixed mediums. Free flowing and textured with the natural forms of Kerry. Luke has a long standing relationship with art from window dressing to interior design.

Coby has attended fine art institutions and is now successful artist, painting water colours as well as acrylic. Together they had many exhibitions and success!
