For those who haven’t yet experienced Ireland, there are numerous beauty spots located right on our doorstep. The Ring of Kerry is a renowned touring route that takes in bustling towns and picturesque villages along the way. A scenic drive from our front doors will take you through mountain passes, pretty villages, and world-famous views.
Some of the highlights of the region include taking a food tour of Kenmare, a quick ferry trip to Garnish Island in the neighbouring Glengarriff village, or a visit to the nearby Gleninchaquin Park.
Kenmare boasts many impressive culinary gems that you can experience on an artisan food tour. During the tour, you can meet the makers and locals, from locally roasted coffee to organic local vegetables.
Gleninchaquin Park is a short drive from the town and home to some truly magnificent views. As a working sheep farm open to the public, the park has a selection of walking and hiking routes for all ages and abilities. Travelling to Sheen Falls Lodge
Sheen Falls Lodge is 52km south of Kerry International Airport, 97km north west of Cork International Airport, 164km south west of Shannon International Airport and 343km of Dublin International Airport.
Sheen Falls Lodge is located 2km outside the town of Kenmare. On arriving in Kenmare, follow the signs on the N71, south, signposted Glengarriff. After crossing the suspension bridge, take the first turn left, signposted Sheen Falls Lodge. Drive 1km and the lodge entrance is located on your left-hand side.
