Owned and managed by Sheen Falls Lodge, the Ring of Kerry Golf Club is located five miles from the hotel. The spectacular course, designed by Eddie Hackett and Ron Kirby, offers golfers a unique blend of heathland and parkland experiences, featuring sweeping, diverse terrain and winding, mature, tree-lined fairways.
This scenic 18-hole, 6,923-yard, par 72 course is neatly tucked between the Caha Mountains and the mighty MacGillycuddy Reeks. Each hole provides magnificent sweeping views of the Kenmare Estuary, designed to challenge golfers of all skill levels. Signature holes include the testing 6th hole, “Ladies View”, due to its scenic splendour with a tee shot that is surely the most breathtaking in Ireland. On the back nine, the par four 14th requires a second shot through a stunning avenue of trees. The PGA-standard course also offers golf buggies and a stylish restaurant and bar, Nua Vista, the perfect place to refuel.
