Owned and managed by Sheen Falls Lodge, the Ring of Kerry Golf Club is located just five miles from the hotel—a true hidden gem for golf enthusiasts. The spectacular course designed by Eddie Hackett and Ron Kirby, offers golfers a unique heathland and parkland experience blending sweeping diverse terrain and winding mature tree-lined fairways.
Our scenic 18-hole, 6,923-yard, par 72 course is neatly tucked between the Caha Mountains and the mighty MacGillycuddy Reeks. Each hole provides magnificent sweeping views of the Kenmare Estuary, designed to challenge golfers of all skill levels. Signature holes include the testing 6th hole, “Ladies View”, due to its scenic splendour with a tee shot that is surely the most breathtaking in Ireland. On the back nine, the par four 14th requires a second shot through a stunning avenue of trees.
The PGA-standard course also offers golf buggies and a newly renovated restaurant and bar, Nua Vista, the perfect place to take in the view while enjoying a coffee, a pint or the delicious Mediterranean-inspired dining with fresh pasta, a range of pizzas or grill classics to satisfy all tastes.
